We custom designed this home for a beautiful but challenging lot. The soils were expansive and with low bearing capability. The solution we devised was a 10′ over dig where we replace the soil under the foundation. The slope was so severe that it required a 14′ tall retaining wall in the rear and we used the house as a retaining wall creating an additional 14′ retaining wall with the foundation! This home has 4 large bedrooms, 3 full baths, separate great room and family room spaces, and a gourmet kitchen. To make sure this home can be used well into the future for the homeowners an elevator was also installed.
