This client had a spacious basement that was completely underutilizing its potential.  They wanted a space that guests or family members could retreat to in privacy.  Also, there was a very awkwardly laid out laundry room that made doing this chore even more of a bother.  We came in and rearranged the space so that the laundry room could actually function as needed.  It also became a separate space from the guest quarters so that it could be used without bothering anyone. Then we added a kitchenette and dining space.  The kitchenette contained a small fridge, sink, and double burner cooktop to allow for small-scale meal prep.  Updated bathroom fixtures including a walk in tile shower with heavy glass door and sink vanity made this space a guest’s ultimate retreat.
